One of two dreams I had that day. This is the night/morning dream:

In this dream, I'm pregnant. Full term. I'm preparing to give birth but it's not in the normal way. I'm walked down a hall in this strange hospital. There are no room, just curtained off spaces with small machines that help guide the baby out while the woman is standing.

I'm left standing in front of the machine while the doctor and nurses go off to do something. It isn't turned on.

I feel movement in my stomach, much more than normal kicking. I look down and my belly is twisting and writhing. I feel her turning around in my belly. She lurches forward and crashes down hard.

Suddenly, she turned to mush and seeps out between my legs. I scream and cry and ask what's going on. The doctors and nurses come back and examine me.

They tell me I had a miscarriage. I ask how that was possible. I was full term. I was in labor!

They don't give me an answer.

The dream cuts to another pregnancy. It's the same as before. The hallway, the curtained off area section. But every time we staet the process, something happens to postpone it. Most of the dream I'm left sitting in a chair next to the machine being told I have to wait a while.

I remember loudly asking if I was ever going to have my baby.

In real life, my daughter came in and woke me up. I felt myself coming out of sleep and thinking real thoughts about the dream, mainly, "wait, I can't wake up now! I haven't had my baby yet!"

Then I woke up.
