To continue from my last rant: What the fuck happened to Wattpad? I used to find amazing original stories to read effortlessly. Now their algorithm is in shambles. I lost count of how many times I hit "show less like this" only for the exact same slop to pop up again and again. Raunchy fanfiction about K-Pop idols whose names I don't know or if they're even of legal age. Raunchy fanfiction about 80s hair metal musicians who did unforgivable things to underage girls. X-rated stories that men who are straight up rapists, but because they're sexy badass bikers or millionaires or mafia bosses, it's ok! In fact, they get redemption arcs! Stories that aren't even in English (I have no clue what language they're in. The writing is beautiful on the cover, though!) Stories generated with AI that read like a bad conversation with ChatGPT. I have yet to be suggested a story that actually interests me. Then I find one story that might be of interest, and the COVER IS MOTHER FUCKING AI GNERATED, SO OFC I'M NOT READING IT BECAUSE THE WRITING PROBABLY IS, TOO. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

I have a conspiracy theory about vaccines. No, this is not anti-vax bullshit. I'm pro-vax. My daughter is fully vaccinated.

My theory states that vaccines have worked amazingly. So well, that big pharma is losing money. When you cure or eradicate a disease, big pharma can't shove pills and treatments down your throat. So they panicked.

Some unpaid intern found a study from some wackjob who lost his license decades ago claiming that vaccines give children autism. Nevermind the fact that autism has always existed, we just have words for it and a better understanding of the condition. So big pharma pays the likes of Alex Jones and other nutjobs to really sell this theory that vaccines cause autism. They get in the heads and pockets of celebrities and billionaires alike. Eventually, they get to the politicians and the worm-brained idiots who run things.

Now vaccines and Tylenol are villainized. More and more people are refusing to vaccinate their children. Previously rare and easily preventable diseases are coming back in waves. The poor and uneducated are the first to fall. Soon, the rest will become infected. All because the bottom line matters more than the good of humanity.

Thanks a lot, assholes. You really stuck it to the shadow government by letting kids die from measles again because you'd rather have a dead child than an autistic one. Suck shit through a boba straw, bitches.
